We have a tentative quote for the printers right now, and all but one pieces
for the book are in. Just waiting on the printers mainly right now.

Ive heard from Fawn and she's been working with the printers about quoting!
This is big progress. I'm now aiming to get preorders up and ready maybe around
mid-december, and run them for 3-4 months.

I'm really trying to wrap this thing up. I'm waiting for the last few
entries to come in, then things can start to move a little better!
Fawn will be handling the interior design of the book. Hopefully
we can quote the printers and everything soon!

Since it's been a month, I've taken out those who have not responded
to me in any way, and am now finding replacements. I wish I didn't
have to replace anyone, but this project needs to start moving again!

07.13.2009
Lots of people still aren't done, so extensions are being handed out
on individual basis. After a week or so, I will delete those who have
not responded to me in any way and find replacements. Formatting the book
has been put on hold until I know who is and is not participating.

07.02.2009
Entries are trickling in. Once I have all
the entries in and the book ready, I will be contacting the printer for
a quote on the printing price. Once that's all set and Fawn (thank you
darling!) helps me with setting things up, I'll let you guys know when
you can post your images for promotion!

this project focuses on... colors! The main goal of this is to collect artwork
from artists and combine them into a book, in chromatic order. All proceeds will
be donated towards the National Organization for Rare Diseases.
I know not all of you may be USA citizens, but the research on these diseases is
something that affects everyone with them, and its a very over-looked cause.

WHAT TO DO
Each artist will work with a certain color as a theme. The illustration doesn't have
to be JUST that one color; it just overall has to have a "feel" or "look" of that color.
It could have all the colors in the rainbow in it, but when you step back and look at it
it should look overall like its the certain color. I hope this makes sense!

The subject and content of the drawing is up to the artist, except for a few small things:
♣ NO excessive gore, violence, or other potentially offensive drawings.
♣ NO overly sexual images; again, please try not to make them offensive
♣ NO fanart, everything must be original.
The reasons for the first two limits is because this book is going towards people who
suffer, and I don't really want it to be very depressing... And, not
everyone is interested into gore and everything.

Other than those two things, the sky is the limit as to what you can draw!
Please be creative and have fun with it.

IMAGE FILE GUIDELINES
When you do your drawing, make sure the final file for print is:
♣ 8.75" x 11.25" (22.2cm by 28.5cm)
♣ RBG color
♣ 300 DPI

Also, with the image, I'd also like (to put in the back of the book):
♣ your name
♣ your website
♣ your email
♣ your location (country, state, etc)
I may ask for additional information depending on how it
ends up getting formatted, but those are the most important things.

DEADLINE
(currently passed; trying to wrap this up!}
During the preorders, I'd like everyone to promote the book on their deviantart
or other webpages. HOWEVER, please DO NOT post your images before
the book is open for preorder!! I'll  figure out all the sale and preorder details
at a later time, just worry about doing the art. ♥
